Williamsburg/Greenpoint/Bushwick HIV CARE Network
(WGBAN)
The Williamsburg/Greenpoint/Bushwick HIV CARE Network
(WGBAN)’s goal is to develop a system to coordinate health
and social services for people infected and affected with HIV/AIDS
within our regions. Through its various committees, WGBAN seeks to
ensure the continuity of care for its target population.
WGBAN is comprised of four committees:
- Steering Committee – oversees all the network’s workplan
objectives and associated activities
- Case Management – enhances services within the region by
bringing together case management providers to collectively develop
a standard of case management systems
- PWHA Advisory Board – composed of peer counselors, who
participate in the planning and service coordination for the network
- Community Awareness – provides elected officials, community
members and service providers with information that effect service
provision for PWHAs in the region
