Food & Nutrition Program
The Food & Nutrition Program's goal is to enhance
the nutritional needs of the clients serviced within FSNNY. This has
been greatly achieved through the FSNNY-Diner, which feeds the clients,
collaterals and other individuals from the surrounding neighborhoods
that meet the program's guidelines. The diner staff ensures that on
a daily basis individuals are fed a hot and nutritious lunch meal.
Also, within the Food & Nutrition Program, consists the Food Pantry
program, which provides a bag of groceries once a month to anyone in
need of emergency food assistance.
Services include:
- Nutritious Hot Lunches
- Nutritional Counseling
- Individual & Group Counseling
- Informational
Workshops
- Monthly Healthy Food Packages
